Excessive stress and negative mental attitudes in our daily lives are the greatest obstacles to achieving serenity, health & well-being. Yoga gives us a unique opportunity to deal with stress on several levels. In this 6 week series you will learn how stress effects various body systems, including cardiovascular, digestive and nervous systems and discover the practices that can help you counteract the effects of stress.
The class offers a combination of physical movement, breathing practices, guided visualization, meditation and student sharing to relieve common stress-related issues, such as body aches, tension headaches, insomnia, anxiety and digestive issues. You will also learn how to reduce negative thoughts & emotions while promoting positive thinking.
By the end of the series you will have 6 simple stress-specific yoga practices and tools to manage stress in the day to-day life. |
